Thanks Julie. As you realise, I have now found out which is the pub in the pic. However, I have not yet found out anything more about the event. I don't know if the pub, or the publican, were a significant part of the trial, or simply a convenient 'pit stop' en route. If I find any information involving the Goodmans I shall let you know.
