Hello Robert and many thanks for making this contact. As you probably realize, I have not been able to extend My Family Tree.
My father,Arthur Joshua Elmer,b 1889, was the son of Edgar Elmer b 1867. Edgar was the son of James Elmer,b1786. I have marriage details for James Elmer and Amelia Jolly, at The Chapel,Pulham St Mary Magdalen,on 20th Feb 1849.
James would have been 62 years, shown as a Widower and Farmer. Amelia was aged 22 years, a spinster. Father of James was shown as Charles Elmer,a Cordwainer. The father of Amelia was shown as a Labourer.
I am afraid I have not been able to find any details beyond that period. If you think you might be able to help, I would very much appreciate it.
