The White Horse Inn closed in 1938 and the Licences were transfered to The Hill Tavern. As far as I can see it was the White Horse until it closed.
The Hill Taven was built and opened in July 1938.
I have been unable to find another 'Hill' Tavern or PH. there was a Hart's Hill Tavern but that was in Hart's Hill not Kate's Hill.
