Can any member give me some information on Thornes Brewery at Nine Elms. The Railway Inn at New Malden was one of the first buildings in the New Malden area back in the 1850s. I have recently seen a postcard of the pub with a sign detailing Thornes, Nine Elms, Ales and Stout. I can find nothing about this brewery, Would it have been in existence in 1850s and when did it cease. The postcard is dated 1913.
