I've since found Richard's brother-in-law, and Caroline's sister, Frederick John Osborn, was the Licensee of The Grant Arms, 278, Burgess Street, Grimsby. Frederick was born in Grimsby in 1880. He married Annie Ethel Holmes in Mar 1909.
