I used to be the landlady of the Golden Ball for 2 years. The pub became part of me. I left my heart there when I moved on.
I'd like to confirm, which you already know, that Flo had the pub. Even though she's no longer with us she loved it there and her presence has still been felt my a few customers, myself and the previous landlady Marion and Greg.
I have been searching and searching for more information about the past of the Golden Ball. Everyone knew or knew of Flo.
We had a sketch of the pub on the wall and I wanted to find one of Flo to put there as she was so popular.
If ou have any old photos, it would be great to see them or any other information about it. I know it used to be 2 cottages joined as one. There is a window in the closet of the 1st bedroom where you can see the brickwork opposite.
