Hi Caroline,
Ive a feeling the Flo that your talking about is a different Flo. There was a Jock & Flo Mitchell tht ran it for a while I think during the 70's or 80's and apparently they where very popular.
I dont have any information about the pub itself, as I live in Middlesbrough and Ive never even been to Spalding.
I was wanting to know where I could find any info on the place and if there was anythng recorded about when Florence Patterson (formely Ward) was the landlady there.
I plan on paying a visit to Spalding and the Golden Balls pub some time this year.
