I think it just may be a a ymbol of some sort many freemasons meet in pubs all over the place mine did out in catford best to view what they have at freemasons hall in london. DISS IS close to the birth place of thomas paione in thetford
visit the local museum in white heart street and take a look at what they have on this great man who went to school jut down the road in the local grammer school or visit local historian DAVID OSBORNE in bury road thetford
