Hi Michael
I have recently discovered that my family (Allen) owned the pub for longer than I originally thought. I thought my grandfather W. Allen owned it until 1905 but it seems his son owned the pub in the 1911 census. I would love to see the advert in the newspaper, how did you find it? I was also wondering if you could tell me how did you know the pub was pulled down in 1913?
