I have recently started tracing my family history and found that an ancestor, William Gutsell, was a publican in Upper Dicker back in the mid 1800's.
I have got census details but the address just says "Public House" - no name given.
Using the internet, it would appear that there is 1 pub in Upper Dicker - The Plough Inn.
Does anybody out there know if there are any other pubs in Upper Dicker ?
If not, does anybody know the history of The Plough Inn ?
Any help that anyone could give would be much appreciated.
