I honestly do not know but it is very unlikely we will use it as a towcar as distinct from keeping it as a towcar. For that matter we do not intend using 1902 either as a towcar.
One thought which has crossed our minds is to form a sub fleet of baby Leopards with say 32 seats. This would be unique. It would be a major job to convert our baby fleet back to mom and pop fleet and we have no intention of doing this for then moment as we have more urgent projects.
Certainly if we did this then 1891 would be the first to be done, being the Scotch one.
Have any readers any views on the subject?
Whether a fleet of ten or so of baby Leopards should exist is an interesting topic for debate.
One has to bear in mind that even though they are over thirty years old this is probably only about one third of their real life so a new configuration is not out of the question with this in mind.
I suppose at the end of the day the important thing is that these Leopards are all being saved and they add valuable machines to preserved Leopards of that vintage. There is plenty of time to decide how best to preserve them.
So what are readers views?
