I would agree with Andrew, Noel, and Stephen about some of the standards of drivers. As their are a number that i work with who would be able to tell you which buses are the quick ones to drive also RE the running times to which are at times beyond the joke here is an excample number 7c service which has to go into mount merrion and onto four winds via cairns hill in 22 minutes but the journey before that you have 30 minutes but dont go into mount merrion and that is only one excample how running times are for drivers but when it is brought up to try and get extra running time allocated to services there are wayfare print outs showing that the services are running on time and dont need extra running time added but it doesnt show what speed the bus might have been going at to keep to the time limit. Noel also said about the age of the automatic bus which can make drivers lazy ie tuck your left leg under your backside to keep it warm as theres no need for it where as when driveing a manual you have to watch the road a bit more during you gear changes and Noel you forgot that drivers wouldnt have both hands on the wheel if driveing a semi automatic ie Bristols/Tigers ect and i hold my hands up to holding the screen when turning a corner at times to stop me slideing around my seat lol give us cloth seats back but all in all some of the driving standards are poor and no excuse can be given
