Jump on the LUAS outside Connolly Station - You can purchase your LUAS ticket in a cark park ticket style vending machine just at the LUAS stop. If my mind reminds me correctly it should be the 8th stop. But you shouldn't go wrong as there is an on-board information display and announcer.
