Depending on what travel you want to do during the day you might want to buy a RAIL AND LUAS ONE DAY TICKET which covers the entire LUAS plus trains to Balbriggan, Maynooth, Greystones and Hazelhatch. This is (I think) 8-60 Euros and is ONLY available from Irish Rail ticket offices, not LUAS or IR machines
