Sorry to correct you Stephen, however, Allen's latest vehicle is a Leyland Fleetline. By the time this vehicle was built Daimler was part of the Leyland empire, as were Bristol, Guy and possibly AEC. I think too the chassis might well have been built in Leyland. Quite a few operators specified the Leyland 0680 engine to power their Fleetlines as a an option over the trusty Gardner 6LXB.
One other interesting aspect of this vehicle is that it is built to a low height specification. Similar vehicles were supplied to Western Scottish, apart from the engine shrouds.
