The chassis for this would indeed have been built at Leyland's Farington plant, the Coventry works having closed in 1973. Daimler (which had already acquired Guy) had merged with BMC in 1966 and then with Leyland in 1968, but it was only in about 1975 that Fleetlines were re-badged as Leylands rather than Daimler. There was no low-height Atlantean chassis in later years so Fleetline production continued alongside Atlanteans until the Olympian superceded both.
