Finally getting round to uploading a few new photos of 2446.
After the run to Portrush it was decided that 2446 required a change of Gearbox do to a defective Output Drive bearing. The new gearbox is now in and just requires testing. The defective speedo has also been repaired and required rewiring. Work was also carried out to the braking system with 2568's brake cross shaft used after fitment of new bearings and a damaged linkage been repaired.
Exhaust tail section and panel require refitting and should be done by end of play on Saturday.
Further fuel leaks appeared after its first long run and have since been attended to by fitting of even MORE new fuel lines. A defective non return valve being the culprit. This was removed as an earlier mod to the fuel system encorporated a new non return valve so the original one of the lift pump was no longer required.
