To update 2446 is now back on the road again.
Work undertaken :-
Replacement gearbox fitted
Replacement brake cross shaft fitted with new bearings
Exhaust repositioned and work to mounting brackets
Brakes adjusted as all shoes were out of tolerance.
Handbrake adjusted.
Speedo rewired.
2446 undertook a test run earlier and went flawlessly. Bus had sat there for over 1 1/2 months and hasnt been run but jumped in to the cab and it started on the button with no assistance!
