The research is in its infancy, isn't it? Looking at research for children with low tone, hyper or hporesponsiveness could be extrapolated to children with Down's. I use it depending on the issue and have had good success with under arroused kids and hypersensitive kids with Down's syndrome. Your local university should be searchable as well as the closest OT scholl to you. Good luck!
