I recently accepted a OT position in the Northwest of the US. Please note that I have not signed any contract. I have signed the application form. The job starts in two weeks.
That being said...i have had a family problem come up in the last few that might prevent me from going now. I have never quit a job without already having a new job, I never take days off and ingeneral I'm very uptight about doing any thing that would jeopardize my career. Plus I just feel awful leaving anyone short changed and don't like to burn bridges. Still, family first.
Has anyone been in this situation before and would be able to lend any helpful advise? Or know where to get some.
