Hi
I have been working in a public school for 3 yrs. I base frequency on severity of disability. For example, one of my students was 2x30, and he has muscular dystrophy. If you are not familiar with MD its a progressive disease that causes muscle wasting. I changed his mandate to 1X45 because he is just getting worse, and all i can do at this point is maintenance, which would entail preventing further contratures and ordering adaptive equipment. I also do not like to take the kids out of the classroom so a lot of times I will push into the classroom. I hope this helps.

: Just curious as to the frequency of services
: for students in a public school setting. Of
: course it depends on severity but just
: curious as to how others determine frequency
