As of right now, the COTA Program is a 2 year degree program. I do not know if they are required to take the NBCOT National Exam. Since they must be certified, I would think they have to pass the national exam? I have been hearing that the program will be increased to a 4 year. I think in response to all the OTR Programs going to Masters and Doctorate Level.
