One of the major delimas seen in O.T. that I have experienced is the attempt to make OTRs keep seeing patients longer than necessary for financial gain. Talk to any OTR that has a few years experience in long term care (nursing homes). The trend has pushed into rehab hospitals but DRG policies have kept it under control more.
