there was also a b&w movie just after subway closed called "as the city sleeps" or "while the city sleeps" a policeman (dana andrews) chases the suspect into the tunnel as a train goes by. also check cedco publishing co 100 pelican way san rafael ca 94901 www.cedco.com. they publish a "red cars yellow cars the streetcars of los angeles" each year or at least the used to. all were color photos and many of subway.
