Anyone have any information on use of the Subway Terminal Building as a fallout shelter after the trains stopped running? The LA times of 10/26/62, at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis, has a story about the building, which was one of two shelters that were stocked with supplies. The Subway Terminal Bldg. was said to be equipped for 10,000 people to take shelter.
