I have had panic disorder for 6 years now. I was diagnosed when I turned 20. I was put on EffexorXR 75mg daily. I have been on it for the past 6 years and have done great! I tapered off of it in November of last year which was 2 months ago just to see if I really needed it anymore. I am now back in the same terrifying place I was 6 years ago. I started taking Lexapro about 11 days ago and ended up in the hospital with severe side effects. I am getting back on Effexor XR and can't wait! So for me it has really worked well. I know everyone is different though. Good luck to you and congrats on your new baby!
