Can people with depression attend H.O.P.E.? Although it is common for people to have some form of Depression accompanying their anxiety/panic, it is not the main focus of why our organization exists. We don't cover clinical depression or work with those who's primary diagnosis is depression. Our main focus is on panic and anxiety disorders. Where is your group located? We are located in Tinley Park, Illinois. How often does HOPE have support group meetings? We have our meetings in the evenings on a weekly basis. Can people without anxiety/panic join your group? No, our focus is to help people with anxiety/panic to recover. A person has to be diagnosed by a professional to attend our group. Can you tell me if I need medication or not? No. We do not have doctors in our program, nor do we talk about medication in our groups. Our focus is that we are a support group. We do recognize the importance of medication for some, but your doctor should be the only person that can tell you what medication is right for you if needed. I have additional questions about the program, who do I contact? * The main contact is by phone. That phone number is 708-614-9016. * Additional questions can be sent via email to Moderator_HOPE@yahoo.com. (Please keep your questions limited about the support group itself.) I am interested in joining your support group, who do I contact? THE ONLY WAY TO JOIN THE SUPPORT GROUP IS BY PHONE. That phone number is 708-614-9016.
