Hello everyone who suffers from these hellish attacks. I am currently going throuhg one as I type (excuse the spelling & grammar-I'm sure you know why)The reason I'm on this sight is to get some insight on the symptoms. Currently my heart is feels like it;s going to pound out of my chest ,I;m hot & sweating and now I am getting a new one -my throat is dry and it feels like I'm being lightly strangled. Does anyone get the strangling sensation or is it something else?Usually right about now i would have been in my car driving with the windows down and circling a hospital waiting it out. But by a hospital I feel safer just in case. To be honest I always thoght support groups were for weakminded people. Please don't take offense to this comment ,cause I now plan to join one and soon. I have to get back to my old self. I was on paxil and wellbutrin. They made me feel like i was in a dream state, not good when your a sales person! I'm currently on klonopin 5mgs. It makes me drowsy and spacy at times but I am sticking to it. As far as I've researched its safer than aspirin. sorry for writing to much but i'm trying to break the habit of the hospital drive-bys. Please let me know about the strangling sensations. thanks
