On hold

As a support person, is my life supposed to be on hold. I can't go to the store 5 minutes from the house because DH can't be alone that long. We have cell phones. It doesn't matter. I get to go to work to be alone never mind the 30 other coworkers. That's the only time I can go in the car alone.
