Hi, yes, Klonopin is addictive, but not as addictive as xanax. Klonopin is a long lasting anti anxiety medication. A little bit goes a long way. Your body naturally will get use to the same dose as with any narcartic drug. Klonopin however lasts for at least 6hrs. If you can keep yourself on a low dose you may not have such a hard time when you want to come off the med.
I have been on Klonopin for 2yrs now. I have cut down from a very high dose I was taking. If you take and antidepressant such as Zoloft which I highly recommend, you may not need too much Klonopin because the Zoloft (non-addicting) works on the the parts of the brain as Klonopin.
It also comes in generic Clanezepam.
: I may go on Klonopin, Is it addictive? Anyone
: on it? I need some help, my panic always
: happens in the car! Is this common?
