I have found a few different things that help 1) I try to do deep breathing and focus my mind on something completely different like a song on the radio or where I am going and what I need to get done. 2) My klonopin can come in handy in emergency cases, sometimes just knowing I have it available calms me down. 3)My thyroid was a BIG contributor to my anxiety/panic attacks and keeping up with my medications and getting it under control has been a huge help...
: I have been having a hard time driving
: (especially driving alone) ever since I had
: a panic attack in my car. I tend to get
: very panicky on busy streets and stopping at
: red lights. I feel like I have to escape as
: soon as possible, but I can't because I am
: stuck at a red light surrounded by cars.
: Can anyone relate or have tips on what to do
: when that happens? Thanks.
