i take klonopin when i feel panicky and have done so for 8 yrs, it was a life safe and im happy it is there for me , i dont smoke or drink or use :drugs: so i f i need alittle help getting by then so be it and you shouldnt feel bad either. if you had diabetes you would take the drugs right? well same thing, think about it, mental health gets such abad rap but we are people trying to get by in the dsame world with families, careers etc. --Previous Message-- : : : --Previous Message-- : I may go on Klonopin, Is it addictive? : Anyone : on it? Klonopin is : good because it is easy to adjust dosages : and it stays in you 25-50 hours; whereas : Xanax only hangs around for approx. 12 hours : and Valium stays with you for 200+ hours. : You should never stop any benzo abruptly. : Mild psych dosages can usually be tapered : with minimal discomfort. You mentioned : driving your car; WARNING: DON NOT TRY : KLONOPIN AND DRIVE IMMEDIATELY. Benzos can : be like alcohol with certain people, : impairing psychomotor skills. If you're : concerned about taking klonopin, talk to : your provider about SSRI (selective : serotonin reuptake inhibitors) : anti-depressants; some are effective.
