Just remember that it'll pass. You'll be fine. I've been going through this for a long time on and off. It is just how you're thinking ... if you can divert them thoughts then you wouldn't have the attacks. Tell yourself every time that you have a scary thought to stop and be persistant. No matter what ... stop! It might not work at first but eventually you'll start retraining yourself to stop at that point. Remember that the attack isn't going to hurt you. Think of it as a wave hitting you, relax and let it pass through. Believe this and practice it every time ... it won't hurt you.

: I am so very worried about the constant
: anxiety I feel on a daily basis. I have not
: had a panic attack in like 3 years, but all
: of a sudden they started coming again. I
: have one almost everyday now, and I am in
: the process of getting back on my old
: medication (paxil) which helped me a great
: deal over those 3 years. It is so very
: frustrating because I felt like I had made
: so much progress over those 3 years, and now
: all that work is wiped out. During my panic
: attacks my heart races, I sweat, I cry, I
: shake, and sometimes I even pass out and
: have what they (the doctors) call a
: pseudoseizure/hysterical seizure. Also,
: lately I have been waking up every morning
: with my heart racing....why? I don't know
: the answers anymore, and I don't want to
: live my life in fear. Please help me!
