I feel impelled to applaud ChartPak, the repair mavens for Pelikan pens (just miles down the line from my front door) for their fabulous engagement with the arts community. Just last week, they donated a significant sum for the artistic restoration of a mural spanning a railroad bridge at the gateway to the city. "We really saw this as an opportunity to help out in the city and get involved with artists locally." They really care about the arts.
