A few years ago I had a similar experience with Visconti repair. I think it was a different U.S. rep - but the results similar, eventually my pen returned. the U.S. people said they had to send it to Italy. I think they sent it on a very slow ship! Had it been a Pelikan Chartpak would have done it in a day, I'm sure! I'll not bother with another Visconti - ever.
