This pen is fairly strongly ambered, but has a type of barrel transparency that really appeals to me, where sections of the pattern give way to open spaces where the ink level can be seen down the entire length of the barrel.
This only works on pens like this one where the barrel itself is used as the ink reservoir. A really cool pen.
It's a vacuum filler, similar to Sheaffer's unit, with a removable blind cap that reveals the metal plunger knob.
I have a set in brown, like this one, and one in gray.
