This is a Conklin Endura black pen made after the sale of the company in 1938 and the move of the company's assets to Chicago in 1939. It probably dates c1939-1940. It follows the designs of the Toledo made pens and has the Chicago Endura imprint on the barrel. The 5 1/4 inch long pen has the 1935 patent clip and the 14 karat gold Cushon Point nib. An outline of the Conklin Crescent appears below the clip instead of an actual gold filled element. It does not have the patent stamped Crescent tipped lever. Original selling prices are unknown.
