Focusing seems to be almost part of the collecting experience. I found that when I started collecting, I was very unselective in my pursuit. As experience increased, I knew more and started pursuing pens that quirked my interest. The problem I have and have noted in other experienced collectors is what to do the many boxes of good but no longer interesting pens (to me). It takes too much time to sell good user pens so they sit in boxes for years never even being looked at.
What do others do? Dump them in bag lots at a pen show? Ebay ( too much time)? Consign them and get very little back back?
