This is a Lady Sheaffer XVI Moire c1959. Sheaffer introduced 18 different models of the Lady pen line in 1959. These were all metal cartridge only Skripsert pens that ranged in price from $10 to $35. This model featured a metal cap and barrel in a gold moire pattern with a decorative filigree cap band with white “brilliants.” The section is Mandarin Red colored to match. It’s about 5 3/8 inches long capped. The nib is two-tone palladium masked gold, but not hallmarked. It sold for $15.00 and the matching twist action pencil was $7.50.
