This is a sterling silver eye dropper fountain pen with a hand engraved peony design done by Shoichi c1915. Likely made for sale in a jewelry shop. There are two open double peonies and buds still on the stem engraved on the barrel and one open double peony and buds still on the stem engraved on the cap. The base of the cap and the barrel are hallmarked SILVER. The artistís signature appears at the base of the barrel. The clip is a slip over type made of 18 karat rolled gold plate, marked RK18. The nib is a 14 karat gold Warranted semi flex. The pen is 5 5/8 inches long.
