we once had a plan, if the WWII RAF GEO S. PARKER Spitfire that crashed somewhere in northern France was recovered, Parker would make a small limited Edition of 51's made from the reclaimed aluminum.
A dig was made a few years ago in a farm field in France where it was thought the GSP crashed, however it was another Spitfire and the pilot remains were still inside the cockpit. The pilot was from Australia and his remains were sent home for full military burial ceremonies. The family was very grateful that Parker had made the effort to search for the missing Spitfire.
