Re: a very logical reason for removing sold prices
With all due respect, no one would or should base a future pricing on *one* sold price. You certainly need to track a pen's value over time and take into account market fluctuations, occasional issues and other matters.
To remove sold prices on the lowest priced pens is rigging the information that is available over time to all who seek it. If the point is to artificially inflate the prices, that is very unfortunate.
Let the sales stand as a reflection of the reality at every given moment. Wise sellers and buyers will know how to take all aspects into account.
