Re: The Montblanc architect's pen
Although I cannot see clearly from the illustration, this appears to be a ruling pen... the small wheel on the nib adjusts the spread of a pair of blades, thereby setting the width of the line to be drawn.
A similar, although much cheaper pen was part of the drafting set I used in high school and college.Mine was a dip pen, not a fountain pen.
