Basic question - I have a new fountain pen that I just purchased that tends to dry up when you leave it resting. Even if the resting period is only over night, it will not start right away, and usually needs quite a bit of coaxing before writing. It's a Montegrappa entry level pen with a converter, filled with Colorverse Supernova ink. The nib is one of those black lacquered very stiff Medium nibs. Once it gets going, it writes just fine.
Is this typically a nib tuning issue, or something else in the pen?
Any comments much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
