Has Z gauge gone the way of the dodo then? I always felt repelled by Z because it is impossible to have to scale details in that gauge... my first impulse is always to multiply by the scale factor and see how big a scale detail would be in real life. If it is more than double or triple the true size I quickly lose interest. That said, it would be fun to have a T gauge. I think these were made in the old days... I have seen windup trainsets that we’re static (but attached to tracks that moved in a simple loop) so this development is in line with that. Does make the hobby accessible for space strapped people. I run a basic N-gauge bi- loop with switches layout that is 3 feet by 4 feet... enough for my daily needs.
