Never heard of a fountain pen with that name but the sensational new "unbreakable" material from DuPont Viscoloid Co was used by Parker for the the new Duofolds. Parker used the name Permanite in their advertising for this Pyralin material. Pyralin had many other uses in various markets, one of which was automobile trim and accessories.
I'll keep looking in my pen library for any reference to a fountain pen with Permanite on the clip.
This image is from one of my ink blotters from that period. By the way, this blotter has a Pyralin sheet cover with the advertising imprint. Very cool use of Pyralin for self promotion.
