That said, the Show itself was a delight: seeing old acquaintances, having Terry Mawhorter solicitous as ever, greeting collectors from previous years, and (yes!) even finding new homes for some of my pens. There were a lot of presentations, and a great variety of different exhibitors. The auction had a great variety of pens, from common to exotic, and there were a lot of bidders. Plus, right nearby is a more modest hotel to conserve one's budget. Already thinking about the 2024 Triangle Show.
