Someone on Instagram commented that the recent Safaris were two-tone (different cap/barrel and section colours), which reminded them of some recent Sailor fountain pens with two-tone colorways. I guess the inference was that this might be a Japanese manufacturing trend in writing instruments. I think it's a great idea as long as the colours don't clash

My only concern about the acquisition is that the new owners might cut down on the number of product lines (models). I have no idea what their plans are, though--I'm just thinking out loud...
