older cat not eating

Samantha, my middle teenage age cat, is unusually verbal and is not eating since her bath and application of advantage last week.
She may be eating when I'm not observing,but not going to her food when I put it down as she always has. We are a two cat family and it difficult to be sure if the other younger cat is overeating. Suggestions, please....
