Posted by A Convert on June 20, 2001, 13:08:00 Remember the greatness and the glory, the value and the almighty beauty of the beer they call Dutch Gold. Many beers have tried but failed. Only one has a loyal fanbase, forget Bavaria Green, Royal Dutch and Carling Black..Dutch Gold is the only one that satisfies. Despite the recent price rise the true fans have remained loyal. Six cans for £5.50 .. a true bargain. And the taste..don't get me started. Previously I would opt for maybe six of the Amstel, but now I will never look at another beer the same. The taste is the cornerstone..with a crisp light touch, it aroused the pallet to previously never imagined levels of euphoria. Would I pay the extra for Henik or Carlsberg..not on yer nelly. Would I dare opt for some tasty bottles..no not me, I hooked and I must spread the word. Dutch Gold is the beer, and nothing else comes close...Dublin has been converted. Please take this opportunity to relate your stories and tales of your own personal experience with the great beer below. Thank you.
Forget yer silly music, forget yer stupid looking hair, forget hanging around outside the Temple Bar Music Centre on a Saturday afternoon picking yer spots and scaring old grannys, forget the Dublin scene, forget Phantom, forget Whelans, forget No Disco..................but remember one thing.
